If you prefer the calm sheltered waters of our bay for Flounder or Fluke, there is no chance of sea sickness. We specialize in deep sea adventures for Blues (both day and night), Makerel, Blackfish, Porgies, Sea Bass and Cod. Whether we are fishing the Cholera Banks for Jumbo Blues in October, 17 Fathoms for Giant Blacks in November, or Reynolds Channel for Fluke and Flounders in the Spring and Summer, you can be assured that we have the most productive fishing grounds on Long Island.
Afternoon fishing trips for Flounder or Fluke are great for groups of adults and children, such as scouting trips, Father - Son / Daughter trips, etc. They also work well for family or neighborhood outings. The trips usually start at 4pm and are over at 8pm. The late afternoon and early evening can often be the nicest part of the day.
The Crew, consisting of a Captain and two mates, is courteous and helpful. They will teach the novice how to use their equipment, bait their hooks and how to fish. They will assist in the landing your fish, using a net or gaff when necessary, take the fish off the hook, clean your catch and provide plastic bags to take your catch home in. All are experienced and extremely dedicated in making your trips as memorable as possible.
A four hour moonlight sail can be a wonderful evening. It can be very simple or very elaborate, from cruising with radio music to live music with a full dinner.
Remember, the fishing season is not as long as you might think. So make your reservations early. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays go very quickly as well as the weekend nights.
* All of our fishing trips include free bait, rods, reels, tackle & Ice.*
